Gina Gershon Denies Affair with Bill Clinton

Bill Clinton wasn't the only one steaming mad over an article Vanity Fair released this week claiming he's "seeing a lot of women on the road" and claimed Gina Gershon is one of those such ladies. Actress Gina Gershon, 45, is upset over the magazine linking her to former President Bill Clinton as well. Gina Gershon issued a statement through her lawyers, denying the allegations and demanded an retraction and correction and also threatened legal action.

Vanity Fair reporter Todd Purdum wrote in the article, "Over the last few years, aides have winced at more recent high-end Hollywood dinner-party gossip that Clinton has been seen visiting with the actress Gina Gershon in California."

Gershon’s attorney, Lynda B. Goldman, said: "Through the innuendo-laden assertion that Ms. Gershon has been ‘visiting’ with President Clinton in California, the article outrageously insinuates that Ms. Gershon has had an inappropriate sexual relationship with President Clinton. This is absolutely false … and she is extremely offended by the false and defamatory inference that she engaged in an adulterous relationship with the president."

The lawyer claims Gina Gershon has only been present with Bill Clinton on three occasions with anywhere from a dozen to several hundred people also present.

Vanity Fair has backed their reporter while the Clinton camp apologizes for Bill Clinton's remarks when he called the reporter a real slimy guy and scumbag. Names President Clinton knows all to well.
